The real Jamaica

About a few months ago, I was at a Boys & Girls club, i showed this video to some kids about "My White Jamaican Dad", and i was like he is Jamaican, and they were like no he's not because he is white, so i try to tell them about the Taino Indians, and European conquest, and African slave, but for some reason they didn't even know what i was talking about, they probably thought that Jamaica is somewhere in Africa, this kids were very ignorant, they have no idea of Jamaica's history, i'm Mexican, but i study a lot about the American continent.

Here's the truth, Jamaica is in the Caribbean, which is located on the eastern portion of the American continent, just like most countries in America, Jamaica is a partly-developed country, with some places being very rich, and some are very poor, and some are middle-class.

Jamaica was colonized by Spain, and later Britain, Jamaica speaks English as it's official language, nearly 20 percent are Mulatto (mixed white/black), so people just please stop stereotyping our continent, it's just getting old, do some traveling around the continent.

Whites make the third-largest ethnic group in Mexico after Mestizos & Amerindians, Whites are a large minority in Mexico.

Whites in Mexico mainly represented in the media, such as telenovelas, news, and even half of the mexican government is White.

Americans think that all mexicans are short, fat, ugly, and dark skinned, the truth is that Mexico has a lots of Whites.

White Mexicans are mostly Spanish, with others being French, Italian, German, Polish, Russian, and English.

Most North Americans are White, due to the strong European immigration that took place in the 19th and 20th century.
